International Teacher and Lecturer

Dr. Ron Shapiro is an internationally requested speaker and lecturer in the field of hair transplantation. Over the past 15 years he has been invited to speak and perform live surgical teaching demonstrations at more than 41 major conferences in more that 25 countries and cities around the world including Japan, Korea, Brazil, Mexico, Sweden, Japan, France, Italy, Monte Carlo and Switzerland.

Dr. Ron Shapiro has the distinction of being the first physician invited to perform a live surgery, demonstrating the technique of Microscopic Follicular Unit Transplantation for his peers at the 1995 International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) annual meeting in Las Vegas. Since that time he has been chosen every year to perform live surgeries to demonstrate techniques in Hairline Design, Megasessions, and Dense Packing.

Dr. Ron Shapiro has held the position of chairman of the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgery (ISHRS) Hairline Design Workshop almost every year for the past 10 years.

He was chosen to be chairman of the Advanced Course in Hair Restoration in 2006 and 2007, and is continually asked to lecture on Creating a Natural Hairline and Achieving Maximum Density at meetings and conferences around the world.
