Dr. Paul Rose is a dermatologist, certified by the American Board of Dermatology. He began performing all micro follicular unit hair transplantation since it began in the early 90's. He saw the advantages of this technique and became one of its early adopters. Dr. Rose is also credited with developing the use of backlighting for graft preparation.

Dr. Rose has published articles on micrographic surgery, follicular unit grafting, megasessions, and hairline aesthetics. He has lectured extensively at hair replacement, dermatology, and cosmetic surgery meetings. Dr. Rose is internationally known for his presentations and vast experience.

Dr. Rose received his medical degree from The State University of New York. He completed his internal medicine internship at the University of Connecticut Medical Center. Dr. Rose finished his residency in dermatology at Temple University Skin and Cancer Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. He is also a fellow in the American Academy of Dermatology and on the clinical faculty of the University of South Florida School of Medicine, Division of Dermatology.

Dr. Rose served as chairman of the Scientific Program for the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS) and currently serves on several of their committees. He was recently elected to the Board of Govenors of the International Society of Cosmetic Laser Surgeons.
